Mayfair Town & Country is pleased to announce that Anna Tucker has been promoted to company Head of Compliance and Training Co-ordinator.
Anna fills the role having worked for Mayfair Town & Country and the Property Group for 7 years, previously working in-branch as part of the Lettings customer-facing team, and more recently as PA to their Operations Director.
Prior to joining the company in 2011, Anna had spent 15 years working in the property letting and management industry in managerial roles.
In addition to managing the compliance of the business, Anna will also be implementing a new training programme for all employees; the focus being customer service.
The promotion comes at a time when the lettings industry is seeing a number of changes to legislation and regulation.
Anna said: “Throughout my career working in lettings we’ve seen a number of changes to legislation and regulation, but this has increased tenfold in the last couple of years.
“My first priority is implementing the new GDPR regulations - which come into force on May 25th 2018 - and we have been proactively training all employees as to the new processes. This will naturally have a huge effect on the way we operate across our business and interact with our customers, as with all companies in the EU.
“The next big one will undoubtedly be the tenant fee ban, which is expected to come into effect in early 2019, and we are also seeing new laws on Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards which need to be enforced. My role will involve implementing, enforcing and monitoring all regulations and legislation which affect our industry, now and in the future, ensuring we always remain fully compliant and provide a fair service to all Property Group clients.”
